About (our story)

Welcome

Kevin and Honey's story...
We work with each other on a daily basis, but our love has endured many obstacles and challenges.  You can always catch us holding hands and stopping a second for a stolen kiss.

We love each other and compliment each other like no one else could ever do.  Many times people think that we spend WAY too much time with one another... but we are like souls that feed off of each other and without the other, we are lost.

We spend a lot of time eating junk food and snacking, but who finds the time to cook when you have 3 children, 2 of which happen to be a set of infant twins.

We love being in love and everything that comes with it.  Our Love Story began over 13 years ago and now we want to be there to document yours.

About Ho'onani Photography

Aloha!
Ho’onani Photography (also known as Always means… Forever, Productions) – consists of a Husband and Wife Team.
The name “Ho’onani Photography” was chosen in place of their original business title in late 2008 – as the owners decided that the company needed a change.  Ho’onani is Hawaiian for “to beautify” or “to make beautiful”.  The name fit perfectly as their primary goal as photographers is to ensure that each person in front of the lens feels comfortable and, of course, beautiful – no matter the subject.  It was also chosen because Photography brings out the Beauty in all aspects of our lives and our entire world.
Kevin & Honey Kaho’ohanohano (the owners & Photographers) are both born and raised on the beautiful Valley Isle (the island of Maui) – in Hawaii.  They have 3 beautiful sons, Ka'eo, who is 6 years old and Luke and Isaiah who are identical twins and are turning 1 in Sept. 2010.  They live in the Upcountry area of Maui and use the beautiful island scapes as the backdrop for their work.
Photography has been Honey’s passion and hobby for years (after being taught the basics by her father).  She utilizes modern style and natural lighting in her captivating images and loves to incorporate the beautiful sunset landscapes in her photographs.  Honey has more than 10 years of experience with photography and is constantly looking for other ways to expand her talents.
Kevin has been known to have a natural talent when it comes to Photography.  Each photograph he’s captured takes you to a place that dreams are made of.  With a candid sense of style – his images portray the fun loving and “happy go lucky” memories of any event.  Kevin is constantly utilizing each opportunity as a way to learn new things about Photography.
Both Photographers are self taught and although they have very different styles in taking pictures – their styles can be described as a mix between photo journalistic, lifestyle and timeless photography.  Kevin and Honey look at their work as a get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of a busy life and they want their images to portray the love of their passion.
“Photography is not just, our job, but it is our passion – and through our work, we hope to share a piece of our heart and soul with you.”
